Just published this new tutorial by 3rd year architectural student Nick Howlett. Its called 'Architectural Rendering with SketchUp and Kerkythea'. In this tutorial Nick shows us how to get up to speed with Kerkythea and produce a desirable result with as little fuss as possible.

New LightUp 1.10 release...

Adam Billyard has just announced the release of LightUp version 1.10. There are a few cool new features with this release, for example - New material attribute 'Shadow Catcher' for creating realistic drop shadows on your skybox background. New control to set Fresnel color on materials, so color can change based on viewing angle. New Ambient Occlusion shader supports color bleeding between surfaces. Shaderlight Pro is released today...

The Pro version of Shaderlight for Google SketchUp has been released today, with all its extra lighting and resolution options ($199.00). This full release features Shaderlight's unique 'progressive' rendering system that enables users to see their image develop on screen as they continue to work inside Google SketchUp. You can trial the Pro version for 14 days or use the free version with less options.
