Just announced, a release of V-Ray for SketchUp version 1.49.01, a patch that enables the rendering plug-in to function within SketchUp 8.

Mega update to SketchUp 8...

News just in from Google SketchUp blog that SketchUp 8 has had a major update fixing some longs standing bugs that have troubled folks for a while now. Here are a few of those changes:
Fixed shadow bug (One of the biggest annoyances), LAA aware (on 64 bit OS), image export size increased, codecs fixed, Toolbar fix fixed and a few other goodies..so this may certainly persuade some of those who were hesitant to upgrade to actually take the plunge now. Well done guys this is a major fix..
