How to Rebuild a Earthquake Ravaged City with Google SketchUp

This is an interesting article on how Google SketchUp is being used for the reconstruction of the devastated city of L'Aquila in Italy. A British architect has teamed up with Google and the people of L'Aquila to tackle the daunting task of modelling the ruined city as a group effort.
